42 FOLDS
A downloadable game for Windows
This is my submission to this years GMTK gamejam! game was made in 96 hours and with very little sleep ;-;
Play as Nami, a piece of paper that accidentally got thrown out! follow them as they try to get back to their Human!
This years Theme was "Built to Scale" and my idea with this submission was to create a game based on the concept that a piece of paper can reach the moon if you fold it 42 times! so i've build some fun mechanics around this idea, there were plenty more but those had to be scrapped in the end due to time...perhaps for a full release :p
Sidenote for those who are stuck: the main way of platforming is bridging gaps by scaling, it's the same way you leave pipes when climbing up them :p, should've made the tutorial more clear
SONGS:
- The Castle Mice - Eric Matyas
- Apple Cider - Zane Little Music
FONTS:
- Matiz
- troika

Will you make a continuation?? No pressure ofc :D
Beautiful artwork, I absolutely love the concept and the world. I would love to see this concept expanded outside of the game jam. There's a lot of potential here!
A charming little game! I may have known Nami for 15 minutes but i already love him, theres so much character in this little guy. great work for 96 hours of development time, I'd be interested to see where it could go if given more time to work on it. Hope you get some sleep now!
